Mogadishu: April 22, 2026 — The Deputy Minister of the Federal Ministry of Interior and Reconciliation of the Northeastern Regional State, Hon. Ali Ahmed Ali, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry, Mudane Cabdisalaan Iiman Cali, participated in the Review Conference on the Stabilization Policy for the years 2026 to 2030.

The conference was chaired by the Ministers of the Federal Government’s Ministries of Interior, Security, Defense, and Information, and was also attended by the Ministers of Interior from the Federal Member States.

The purpose of the meeting was to review the Stabilization Policy, assess the progress made, identify existing challenges, and develop strategic plans for the years 2026 to 2030.

The conference was also attended by representatives from the embassies of the UK, Norway, Italy, and the European Union, as well as some international organizations, all of whom play an important role in supporting the country’s stabilization efforts.

This conference is important for strengthening peace, security, and state-building, with a shared agreement to accelerate the implementation of stabilization policies in order to achieve sustainable development.
